Warm Wines for Wintertime

My top wines to keep warm for winter (just the beginning of my ‘warmth collection’:

Sandbanks French Kiss 2010 cabernet-merlot blend is a velvety smooth red with 10717965_10152713995665428_724971054_nhints of vanilla. This wine is only available in select LCBO’s around Kingston and the surrounding area, as it is featured in the VQA section and there must be space on the shelf for it.

Lohr Arroyo Seco Monterey Chardonnay 2010 oaked Chardonnay has a pale straw colour with tastes of pear and apple and emphasis on hazelnut and butterscotch bouquet. Now THIS is the oaky, buttery wine I was looking for. This can be found in the vintage section at the LCBO. I’m not the only one who likes to cozy up by the fire with a glass—rather— bottle of wine… right?
